This incident caused the partial closure of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking area.

An additional two individuals are now in custody in connection with a theft at Heathrow Airport where 21 people were injured by what is thought to be an irritant spray, according to police.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in Lambeth for suspected theft and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

The arrests follow a probe into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the attack, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their suitcases after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was one of the injured in the event. Five people went to hospital for medical care and were later discharged.

Officers detained a 31-year-old man on suspicion of theft and assault near the scene. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Authorities were alerted at about 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of individuals hurt by a noxious substance believed to be an irritant spray.

The assault - which authorities stated was isolated and not considered terrorism - resulted in train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility briefly.
